PAREEKSHAK HIV-1 & 2 RAPID TEST(spot test)

The Rapid visual test for detection of HIV – 1 and HIV – 2 antibodies in serum or
plasma is based on the technology developed in U.S.A., to give you the most sensitive
and specific results.
The spot test is based on immunoconcentration technique. The HIV antibodies, if
present in the test sample, bind to the antigens coated on the membrane. The bound
antibody is then detected by reacting with Protein A - Colloidal gold conjugate.
These results are comparable with other tests for HIV infections like Western Blot,
ELISA, etc. |

PAREEKSHAK HIV 1 & 2 RAPID MEMBRANE ELISA
|
The rapid visual ELISA for the detection of HIV - 1 and HIV - 2 antibodies in serum
or plasma using horseradish peroxidase and TMB substrate. The results are comparable
with microtiter ELISA.
The test is based on 'sandwich' ELISA. HIV antibodies present in the test sample
bind to the antigens coated on the membrane. The bound antibody is then detected
by using protein-A-horseradish peroxidase conjugate and TMB substrate. |

It is an indirect non-competitive "sandwich" ELISA. HIV antigens are coated
onto microtiter wells. HIV antibodies, if present in the test sample, bind to the
coated antigens. Bound antibodies are detected by using protein-A - Horseradish
