ROMOL PLUS is an antipyretic, analgesic & anti-inflammatory drug.

How does ROMOL PLUS work?
ROMOL PLUS exerts its action by inhibiting the biosynthesis and release of prostaglandins.
This drug inhibits cyclo-oxygenase enzyme and hence prostaglandin synthesis. This
compound generally does not inhibit formation of leukotriences, which also contribute
to inflammation.

What is ROMOL PLUS for?
ROMOL PLUS is indicated for
Non-articular rheumatic conditions.
Osteo-arthritis.
Cervical spondylosis.
Infective inflammation.
Dental & traumatic inflammation.
Pain, fever associated with inflammation.
For whom is ROMOL PLUS not suitable?
ROMOL PLUS is contraindicated in patients with impaired kidney or liver function,
active peptic ulcer and gastrointestinal bleeding. ROMOL PLUS also not suitable
for the patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the drug.
What is the dosage of ROMOL PLUS?
Adults : 4 teaspoonfuls 3-4 times a day.
Children:Doses to be taken three times a day.
Age 6 months - 1 year: ½ teaspoonful.
Age 1 – 6 years: 1 teaspoonful.
Age 7 - 12 years: 1 to 2 teaspoonfuls.
What are the possible side effects of ROMOL PLUS?
Rarely reported side effects of ROMOL PLUS are nausea, vomiting, epigastric discomfort,
dizziness, headache, skin rash etc.
What are the adverse reactions of ROMOL PLUS?
Long-term use may lead to bleeding disorders, anti-inflammatory drug induced allergy,
asthma, hypertension, hepatic, renal or cardiac dysfunction.
